(More customer reviews)This plant is also known as Beetberry and seemed an interesting little plant to try because you could use the leaves as spinach salad leaves and the berries in the salad or eaten raw. It's very rare apparently and I've found out why!
The entire first package I bought never germinated. Normally the first batch of any new seed I try I sow some in a pot, and some in two or three places about the garden to see how well they'd catch on in different spots. Nothing happened. I thought maybe I'd got a bad batch so I trawled the Internet for ages trying to find another seller with this seed. I finally found one and ordered another set. I tried again and although some seeds of this new batch did germinate, they only lived a few days before they keeled over and died.
Now I consider myself to have a pretty green thumb, and can usually make things grow when others can't, so...APPROACH WITH CAUTION! I won't say to stay away completely because it's always good to try new plants, and growing conditions are so subjective that maybe it'll work for you even though it didn't for me.

Cucumber Marketmore Certified Organic Seeds Review

(More customer reviews)I'm growing the Marketmore cumcumbers in very difficult conditions, in a screened-in, plexiglassed-in porch greenhouse that I built last year. I'm growing them in the Winter, and they are growing! They are now blooming. Will they fruit? Other things I've planted are, but cucumbers like more heat. If the cucumbers decide it's hot enough, they are going to do well. The plant itself looks healthy. The seeds originally sprouted quickly enough, but then the seedlings were taking their slow time doing anything. Now, FINALLY, they are looking like they are going to fruit. This is an experiment for me at this point. I think I'll be able to hand-pollinate them and keep it warm enough for them to grow. If my experiment fails, I feel confident that they will grow with a little warmer environment, the way they were intended to grow.
It's always amazing to me that anything grows in the middle of Winter, but they are looking good at this point. I recommend them to those of you who, like me, are DARING and CREATIVE gardeners, when interpreted means people who break the rules, and to those who do things the way they are intended to be done. These are quality seeds, a good product. I recommend them.
I'll be back to report later when I see edible fruit. :) I can't wait, but I guess I have to. EDITED to say that they are beginning to fruit. I'm hopeful.

(More customer reviews)I bought this along with several other kitchen gadgets using Amazons 4-for-3 promotion. It's been something I've wanted, but didn't necessarily need. Now that we have it though, I'm very glad I bought it.
It makes slicing apples easy and quick. Normally when I make apple pie I peel, cut and core by hand, but with this it cut out one step all together and saved quite a bit of time. Plus the apples were even so they cooked better.
Clean up is easy too, just rinse under some hot water or put on the top rack of your dishwasher.

Such a cute red thing. Never did I think he would rise to the occasion and prove his worth. Glass Lids! OMG so hard to keep clean. A soft sponge wouldn't do. I needed some action and this little red devil got busy! Right under the rim. Rubbing and scrubbing like you wouldn't believe.
Those hard bristol's were better than brillo, no scratches, nothing forced
Just clean see through glass lids. Wow, now I know the secrets this little guy holds. He ain't just another pretty face.

(More customer reviews)It's very tall for a grater, and the knob on the top fits right into you palm, and it makes grating very easy. I've had this for over a year now.., no sign of rust or aging. It's held up well.., no dents or dings and the black feet and top are holding up just fine.
I'd easily say this is the best grater I've ever had. It's very simple, yet very practicle. The way it's in a pyramid shape.., I haven't shredded a knuckle yet. I like the sizes of the holes.., I shred a lot of ginger and it works really well for that. (Hint, if you're going to shred ginger get a big hunk, rub off the peel with a spoon, (yes really, it works), and then freeze it before you shred it)

(More customer reviews)We laughed and laughed when we received this "as seen on TV" slicing and, well, grating "miracle product" as a gift. Who would actually use such a crazy thing? Well, it turns out that we would, frequently. It may not dice, but it does slice beautifully - thin and uniform, as well as grating everything from cheese to potatoes to carrots to ... you name it. We use it almost daily. If you're a vegetable eater or a cheese lover, you won't know how you lived without it. Easy to assemble and disassemble, and it's dishwasher safe, although you do have to position the parts correctly to maximize water flow and cleaning. You can do a fine or a coarse grate, a straight or a wavy slice. You can even get an ice shaver for making snow cones. It does have some limitations. While it grates all kinds of cheeses (softer cheeses work best when chilled), it can't slice cheese at all. Nor does it slice onions, celery or other "stringy" vegetables well. It will grate them, though. It slices cucumbers, carrots, summer squash and similar vegetables beautifully, but the chute is too narrow to slice most cukes or zukes whole -- you'll have to split them lengthwise.

Unable to live with out it, I checked Amazon to buy another one when I noticed this product It appeared a lot stronger. I have since used this item for 5 weeks and it still works great , it is more durable and easy to clean, with the cleaning tool. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the size of the cutting area I wish the hole was 50% bigger.

Ferry-Morse 2027 Tarragon Seeds (125 Milligram Packet) Review

(More customer reviews)Short and sweet...I ordered a bunch of different seeds in and this is the only package that had literally what looked like MAYBE 15 seeds in it total. These seeds are tiny, like a spec from a pen so only getting that many when it says 125MG packet? That just doesn't seem right. And for the price of $5.99, I expected more. I can plant this what, 2-3x if I'm lucky?
I realize seeds are small and no, this is not my first packet of seeds, but to have THAT few? Even my sugar snap peas which are the size of...well, a pea...being quite large there's over 50 seeds in that packet.
My peppermint seeds are smaller than these and there's well over a couple hundred in that packet as well.
I just feel like I paid a lot for next to nothing. I'm just sad this was all that came...I hope they grow.
