(More customer reviews)This 3-piece set arrived in a nice little cardboard box that would have been suitable for a gift. I've used it myself, and am quite satisfied with it. The tomato knife is sharp, especially the point -- have to be careful if you are used to more blunt or rounded points. It cuts tomatoes very well, as well as many other vegetables. Because of its sharpness, it's easy to use for things other than tomatoes. It's thin and flexible, so if you do cut denser veggies, you have to hold it very straight. The blade is longer than I expected, and it works very well.
The peeler so far is very easy to use -- I've had indifferent luck with peelers before, but this one is so convenient, I will end up using it, rather than ignoring it in favor of a knife. Ironically, I would have preferred a slightly sharper point, to cut out potato eyes; but the slightly rounded one is safer, and still works on eyes and other small imperfections -- just needs a bit more pressure to scoop them out.
The parer is just a tad too short for me -- but the blade is otherwise sharp and convenient for, well, paring.
All three pieces seem to suffer no harm from the dishwasher, and are easy to hold and a pleasure to use.
