(More customer reviews)The picture and description are very misleading. I thought the stand was included, it is in the picture, and there is nothing in the description stating that it is not. Even the shipping weight 10# appeared to be correct. When I received the peeler, minus the stand, I called customer service, and was told I was correct there should be a stand. I was then assured they were sending out a replacement, "with the stand". Another peeler arrived, no stand. When I called again, I was told the stand was not included. I told them their information was very misleading and I advised them to change their information about the peeler, that was about a month ago and the information is still the same. Other than the incompetence of failing to fullfill their word, both written and spoken, and failing to follow thru on a customer complaint, the peeler works great.

The carrot peeler is designed for carrots with a unique postitioning of the six opposing blades. With one smooth downward movement the carrot is peeled. The blades are on springs to accommodate varying diameters.
