I got it when I was in my old apartment and had precious little kitchen space, and had to think very carefully about what I wanted filling up my cupboards so that I'd have enough room for necessities. Even though I have more space now, this is still my preferred colander. It's easy to clean, and works just fine. I just stand it up flat in a cupboard along with my baking sheets. While many of Joseph Joseph's products are over designed, over priced and/or unnecessary, this one is definitely worth it and is quite valuable if you have a small kitchen.

It measures 10.62 x 8.66 x 5.51 inches folded and assembled to use, and 16.53 x 12.59 x 0.39 inches when folded flat. It's made from molded polypropylene, and is dishwasher safe.
