(More customer reviews)Planted the seeds, half the package of seeds has sprouted. Can't really say how well the plants will turn out since it is appx 80 days to maturity! Have my fingers crossed that I will have enough to make a large batch of Salsa!

The Grande Rio Verde tomatillo is a sweet tomatillo that is great for green salsas or pies. The fruits are enclosed in a papery husk and grow up to 3" wide. Grande Rio Verde Tomatillos are also particularly disease resistant.
