(More customer reviews)The product seemed to require a lot of effort to get things chopped. Perhaps the blades are not sharp enough. My wife was trying to chop red onions and they became stuck in the blade. To clear the blade we had to pound hard on the spring loaded top part that pushes food into the blade. We tried cutting the onions into small slices but the results were still not impressive. I gave it two stars because it does chop with enough force applied. I gave this item as a gift and wish I had spent my money on something else.
