We use a high temp or BBQ grill pre spray to help in keeping foods from sticking and to make cleaning even easier. We were so pleased with this we bought another one and used it as a gift for another avid grilling family member. For the price this item can't be beat. We take extra care in not over heating, so this should last for years. Buy one, take care of it and you will enjoy it !
