(More customer reviews)Every spring I plant these radishes, and they have become a family favorite. They produce a reliable crop of quarter to slightly larger bulbs in various colors, ranging from purple, red, red/white, and white. I plant them early in the spring when the soil can first be worked. They are best to grow as a cool weather crop, so plant early and then plant every 2-3 weeks for several successive harvests. Plant about 1 inch apart, and then when the sprots emerge, thin them to about 2 inches apart. Water every other day to ensure even growth. The taste is fairly mild (not too hot) and the whole family will love them. Great eating fresh, or sliced on salads. This is a winner!
