I direct-seeded some seeds into small pots on my patio and germination was super fast--seedlings already appearing--it's been three days and every single seed I planted has sprouted as a seedling! I picked this particular type of basil because of it's (hopeful) resistence to wilt and other humidity based illness--definately hot and humid here!
