(More customer reviews)My wife developed a taste for pineapple. She didn't like the way I cut the pinapple in quarters and wanted them doughnut style or in rings. I searched everywhere for a device to core the pineapple. These corers were very common some years ago, but very hard to find today. I was pleased when I found this corer and very happy when it worked well the first time. The second time the handle snapped off and banded the corer body into my hand. I had to hammer the corer in to finish the job. The corer is steel, but only a few spots of welds or glue attach the handle to the corer body. Very expensive item for one use.
