Its high density ceramic wheels easily sharpen carbon steel or stainless steel knives. The fast cutting action of these ceramic wheels make quick work of sharpening even very dull knives. The product's design make it easy to use and its small size makes it easy to store. I've had other knife sharpeners but this is the best. I highly recommend it!
