It is well made (in China), but is tricky to use, takes quite a bit of effort and produces poor, very inconsistant results; even after much practice. It produces more of a shred, than a julienne. It is VERY sharp, so be very careful! The blade is non-replaceable, but this peeler does have a lifetime warranty. This peeler was rather expensive for the results. I would NOT buy this again.
