(More customer reviews)I ordered this apple corer as a replacement for a cheaper one where the weld gave way and the cutting edges came loose.
It's nice looking and does the job OK, but the finish is not quite as good as that on my RSVP spice measuring spoons (Which I love so much I bought another set!). Nothing wrong, I'm just picky about stuff. At any rate, it does go in the dishwasher nicely with no worries since it is all metal.
Although the cutting edges seem sharper, it's actually just a little harder for me to slice through an apple than with my previous cheap slicer from Wal-Mart. Hopefully this one will last longer than that one did, though the construction actually looks quite similar. At any rate, if you need an apple slicer/corer gadget, there's nothing wrong with this one. They are convenient, especially if you love a sliced apple with a bit of peanut butter on each slice!
