Vegetables that have Hearts! These are Heirloom Artichoke seeds, passed down for generations and originating in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean. Start planting early indoors for mouth-watering success in any climate! This packet includes two wonderful varieties that are wonderful as cut flowers: Green Globe Improved & Purple of Romagna. A cool season crop, plant these artichokes in Early Spring for cool climates, or early fall for warm climates. 180-240 days. There is enough seed in this packet for a 20-foot row.
