(More customer reviews)I've tried numerous steamers. This one far surpasses them all. The feet are a bit longer and so the vegetables really steam. The stem in the center extends when you need it to so you don't get burned lifting the steamed food out of the pot, then retracts so that it fits easily into the dishwasher. This steamer fits in a double boiler or larger pot. I love it! No corners were cut in it's construction.
