(More customer reviews)I was given this and the flavor shaker for Christmas. Neither item worked as advertised. The peeler has a very thin metal tip that bends easily - so it usually only peels a very thin piece of the potato. Which means I have to work and work to get a full potato peeled. And because the metal was so flimsy, it wouldn't go in any grooves of the potato at all - those had to be hand done carefully. I ended up throwing it away and using the more reliable Oxo.
The shaker is another story - never worked right. The seal came right off and it would never close fully. I might as well have grabbed my spice rack and dumped it all over the floor in mad abandon - because when the top comes off the shaker, everything goes everywhere.
That's it for me and Jamie Oliver sponsored products. Clearly, he's raking in the money and not too worried about quality.
