(More customer reviews)Yes, there is a v-shaped blade to make the long lime or lemon spiral for many kinds of drinks. But there is no "short flat blade" anywhere on the tool. This is a "stripper" but not a "peeler."
I give only two stars because of the deceptive description; it's cheaply made; and the shipping was significantly more than the cost of the item.
