(More customer reviews)I really dislike bulky, ergonomic peelers. My hands tend to tire faster with them - I have no idea why. Unfortunately, it's really hard to find a solid, non-bulked up peeler now! This peeler is old-fashioned, sturdy, and does the trick. The blade is sharp. However, the coring end is not as sharp as I would like it to be, but it's okay for veggies and cheeses. Potato eyes are difficult and I've been switching to a paring knife, which partially defeats the purpose of the peeler.
