The outside is a dull finish, the inside has shine, and the two finishes complement each other perfectly. Food doesn't stick, yet the dishes aren't slippery to the touch. They're pretty to look at and sturdy as well. Everything arrived in perfect condition and in a timely fashion. I couldn't be happier.
